What It's Like to Work Together

You don't need to clean before I arrive.

You don't need to apologize for your home.

You don't need to explain how things got this way.

We'll simply start where you are.

We'll work together.

We'll celebrate progress.

We'll laugh.

We'll make decisions together.

And when I leave, my hope is that you feel more collected than when I arrived.

A Little More Clarification

Calm, organized morning sunlight through linen

But what is it that you actually do?
I literally help with anything that is causing you to feel stuck or overwhelmed. That looks different for everyone! Sometimes there are more responsibilities than there are hours in the day so I help with things like meal preparation, laundry, wrapping Christmas gifts, running errands, seasonal swap outs of clothes and equipment, yard work, packing for an upcoming trip, paying bills, prepping for a party or gathering...  I also help navigate life transitions by assisting in sorting through a loved one's belongings after a loss,  acting as a sounding board for a developing business, being an extra set of hands with a new baby, gathering and organizing documents needed for a divorce, giving you a break from caretaking for elderly parents... Then there are the good old fashion things that we all put off such as cleaning out a closet, going through clothes the kids have outgrown, sifting through and throwing out expired food items, organizing spaces in the home or at work, putting old photos into a system... No task is too big or too small!

Can I just tell you what I want done and you do it for me?
Nope, we are in this together! I am not an organizer who you can show a closet in disarray to and then come home to everything in labeled and color coded bins. I prefer to approach that closet with you, together come up with a plan that fits your personality/lifetsyle and work side by side to achieve the beautiful final product. Most of us are carrying more than one person was ever meant to carry alone and that can sometimes make us feel lazy, disorganized or like we are failing. By empowering you to be a part of the process, my hope is that when I leave your home, you don't just notice the pretty closet. I hope you feel calmer. More capable. Seen. Proud. Collected.

How long will this take?
The duration depends on the size of the project. There are people who feel very taxed by this process and they find 2 hours to be their limit and then they start to feel fatigued. Others want to tackle as much as they can in a day and can go for 6-8 hours. I will match your pace regardless of whether this is a one time 2 hr project or a reoccurring longer project.

How much will this cost?
I charge $50 an hour and please note that I have a 2 hour minimum for each session.

Is it really worth it?
Yes it is and so are you!
